Was around this area and found cheap eateries at Fortune Centre. Decided for some dumplings 🥟 Seats were fully occupied the moment I stepped in but manage to get a table after placing my order. There is only one person taking order, preparing food, serving food, and cleaning up table. The flow of the crowd was steady that day and I enjoyed my lunch peacefully. I am amazed by the price of my plate of 15 dumplings is only $4.50 and I added a herbal egg for only $0.50 The taste of the food is quite bland and condiments are available for your preferred pairings. I definitely will go for sliced ginger with vinegar and chilli oil. But, everyone have to give a try on the pickled garlic. It’s really nice. I liked it after trying them!

The reason why I like the eateries at Fortune Centre, the shops gave out old-school vibes. This shop is manned by 1 staff, which is very soft-spoken and chill. Saw lots of other customer (came alone) ordered 1 plate of dumplings (15 pieces). I really had no idea how they finish all by themselves. Dumplings are nice, soup noodles are great too! We ordered the savory dry noodle as well, not really our cup of tea. If you want dry noodle, maybe go dan-dan noodle.

A no-frills noodle and dumpling place tucked in the corner of the fortune centre. They have very generous serving sizes at very affordable prices, I would even say that they are cheaper than some of the hawker stalls in Singapore. However, the seating is limited, and long waiting time is expected during the peak hours. Do prepare to wait for your food. A hidden gem not to be missed in the area.

No horse run. I didn’t expect to come across this hidden gem inside this building. Yes is my first time here. Past lunch hour and the shop is still almost full of customers. I ordered the cabbage pork dumpling noodles. The noodle is cooked to perfection and the broth flavour is on the lighter side yet delightful. Is like a fusion of Japanese and Chinese style culinary. Dumpling potion is generous. Feels like i travel back to 2019 and before where the price was affordable. I think is a one man show shop, i saw him dealing with 2 difficult customers and he kept his cool, well-mannered man. He take your order, cook, clear your tables, answer enquiry etc. Don’t give him a hard time ya. Update: Meatballs is so good as well, can consider 15 dumplings as side for a total of $8 Taste is subjective. Hope your enjoy it.

Boss works solo. So don’t expect the tables to be cleaned. The noodles portion is quite big but the taste is just average however very similar to authentic cheap food in China. Recommended if you’re travelling on tight budget.

Not fantastic, the noodles were slightly floury, the dumplings skin quite thick at the folds. Total sgd14.5 for 2 bowls of noodles, 1 plate dumplings, 1 tea leaf egg and 1 canned drink. Dry noodles was not nice without chilli, tempura prawn cold and powdery and hard, eggplant was oily and gooey. Noodles soup better, comes with kelp, meatballs, soup was decent but didn't taste as great when cold. The raw garlic was gross. Egg was overcooked. Service not fantastic, can barely hear the guy, and he was quite curt. Waiting time quite long as he is one man show and place was packed. Don't understand the hype, will likely not be back.

Great dan dan mian and zha jiang mian here. The noodles are worthy of a mention as it’s texture is chewy and taste really good even on its own. The dumplings here are great too. And prices are are very very reasonable.

This is a one man show shop. Visited this place on dinner time so expect your orders will be slow. He clear the plates and bowls to the rubbish bin next to the freezer. Without washing his hands, he bare handled grab the dumplings from the freezer to cook. He sneezed into the freezer while he is holding to the dumplings. He even dig his nose while waiting while waiting for the food to be cook. Why he can do the above? He never wear mask. Taste of the dumplings? 1/10 You can grab any one of the brand selling at Supermarket still taste better than this. He short change me for the dumplings too. Worth the wait? NO 40 mins on waiting for this type of quality does not worth it. Understand the price for the dumplings is reasonable but need to take care of the hygiene (major concern) First and the last for me.
